Kokopelli dilemma, a southwestern adventure of a wood puzzle and brain teaser. This puzzle will intrigue all puzzle solvers! Due to the difficulty and small pieces, it is not recommended for young children.

The puzzle features Kokopelli, the hunch back flute player who plays his flute to bring rain and also to attract women. The Kokopelli is a fertility god who seduces.

The puzzle consists of 14 Kokopelli’s in several different positions. The object is to fit the Kokopelli’s inside the base. The pieces should not be forced to fit. If the Kokopelli's aren't easily fitting back into the base, something is wrong! A picture of the correct Kokopelli positions is taped to the back of the base in case you get stumped. The color of the Kokopelli’s in your puzzle might not match the picture shown in Etsy, due to the fact I just cut out 14 figures without worrying which plywood I use.

The inside of the base is 7” x 7” and made of 1/8” masonite, with ½” wood strips glued around the outside to prevent the Kokopelli’s from sliding out. The base is sprayed with an acrylic white enamel to accent the shades of the Kokopelli’s. The Kokopelli’s are cut with a scroll saw from 3/32” walnut, cherry, birch, oak and maple plywood. They are sprayed with acrylic matte enamel on the top side.
