A pair of old glass jars from the early 1900s with a lot of visible imperfections in the glass - small and large bubbles, lids that are not perfectly (machine) round. The outer rim of the lid and the inner rim of the jar are both frosted which helps the lid suction to the jar and stay in place rather than a plastic seal (no plastic here!).

These jars are round and a clear golden amber color. The lids have handles and the lid to the smaller jar is marked with "1000". There are no other marks on the jars. They are large and heavy and in great condition. The lid to the larger jar has a crack about halfway through the lid (not through the handle) and a few small chips around the edge of the jar.

Larger jar: 8.75 inches tall (without the lid) with a 3.2 inch opening.
Smaller jar: 7 inches tall (without the lid) with a 2.75 inch opening.
