This tide clock is perfect for surfers, beach lovers and boaters. H and L mark the high and low tides. Comes with directions on how to set tide clock and how tides work. Hand shaped from poplar with red cedar stringers. Finished with 4 coats of high quality polyurethane. Requires one AA battery, not included. Clock mechanism is a quality “made in the USA” time piece.

Each one is handmade and unique, but approximate dimensions are 12 inches x 3 inches. Inspired by classic surfboard shapes like Dick Brewer’s “Pipeliner”, Steve Lis’ “Fish” and Dale Velzy’s “Pig”

This clock will keep track of high and low tides in areas with semi diurnal tides (2 high tides and two low tides each day)... In the United States that’s the East coast, but not the Pacific or the Gulf. For other locations you can check on this tide cycle map:

Please note: This item is NOT a time clock. Time clocks rotate on a 24 hr cycle, this tide clock rotates on a 24 hr 50 1/2 minute cycle with lunar/tidal cycles.
