Beautiful black and copper spiral bead crochet necklace! This lovely beaded rope is made with thousands of Czecho and Japanese glass seed beads in Matte Black and Copper Lined Crystal. The bold copper swing on the midnight black spiral is complemented by copper color stone beads and pure copper end caps and toggle closure. For some reason this pattern makes me think of the Big Band era - thus the name 'Swing'! The necklace is 7/16" in diameter and approximately 18 3/4" from end to end, which gives a wear length of about 18 1/4".

THIS ITEM WILL BE MADE TO ORDER!! Please allow 7 days until shipping (although it is usually a bit faster). Be aware that although your necklace will be very similar, it will not be *the same*. Due to variances that naturally occur in handmade artisan work, all my pieces are one of a kind

As with virtually everything I make, this pattern is my own creation. See for the coordinating bracelet and for the earrings!

This pattern also looks great in other color combinations. For two lovey examples see and Please note that I can also make a necklace, bracelet or earrings from almost all my patterns.

I'm very sorry, but although I love doing custom work, due to recent cases of Etsy overriding sellers' policies, I no longer offer custom work on this particular website.

I LOVE TO SHIP TO OTHER COUNTRIES, but due to some issues in the past I do require that you convo me first if you would like to set this up.

Bead crochet is a wonderful technique that dates from the 1850s. It fell out of style in the 1950s to 1960s but has recently started to regain in popularity.

There are four steps to creating a piece of bead crochet rope jewelery. The first step is design, which includes determining the look of the finished product and breaking that pattern down to a straight sequence of beads. The second step is stringing, where each individual bead is strung on thread in the correct sequence. One mistake here will destroy the pattern, so I take great care! The third step is to crochet each of these tiny beads into a beautiful, strong and light bead rope. The fourth and final step is finishing with joins, findings and/or accent beads to complete a lovely and unique piece of jewelery.
