This lovely plate features a reproduction of The Coqui (tree frog), which is perhaps the most popular Taino petroglyph (rock carving) located in Puerto Rico. Use its for keys, snacks, tapas, jewelry, your used tea bags, your 'mise en place' or as a spoon rest.

I hand formed this plate from white stoneware which I stamped with a stamp I carved myself. Each plate is individually formed. The corners are stamped with my studio logo (Rincon Pottery) and my maker's mark ('M' for Miri). The plate is glazed in a semi-matte golden-brown glaze. The bottom of the plate is unglazed.

I mix all my glazes from scratch, so I know exactly what is in them. The glazes I use are food safe and do not include lead or other toxic materials. These plates can be safely put in the microwave and dishwasher.

This Listing is for 1 plate.
