This is a wonderful piece of history from the American Red Cross. At 248 pages, it is chock full of outdated life-saving information with black and white photographs and colored illustrations.

Copies of the illustrations would make wonderful halloween decorations, gift tags and greeting cards.

We really cannot guarantee that any of the information in this great book would still be helpful but it is a terrific reminder of the wonderful work that the Red Cross does.

Chapters include:
First Aid
Anatomy and Physiology of the Body
Dressings and Bandages
Artificial Respiration
Injuries to Bones, Joints and Muscles
Injuries Due to Heat and Cold
And much more!

The covers do have some staining and discoloration. The cover has some rips near the spine but overall, the book is still in ok shape. The dimensions of the book are 5-1/4" across and 7-3/4" long. It would make a great gift for an EMT or medical professional!
