Tibetan heavy ceramic turquoise-colored thumb ring with a gold-toned metal liner and intricate gold phoenix and red gemstone accent (coral?) with an interior measurement of 14/16th of an inch.
I am not certain of the material. I was told it was ceramic but I'm not sure if the person was using the word correctly. The blue portion is cool to touch. The interior is gold color.

This ring could have been used in two different ways. Tibetan men will sometimes wear a large ring on the thumb of their left hand as an anulet for good health. The other use involves the movement of drawing a bowstring. The ring would be worn on the thumb and used to help steady the string.

The inside of the ring has a pressed symbol possibly a maker's mark. Please look at the third image.
