A simple cross stitch pattern to make your own cozy pillow cover, inspired by the mid-century modern designs of Alexander Girard. The finished piece will be 16 x 16 inches, based on 7 stitches per inch rather than the usual 14 (although you still use 14-count Aida cloth, but each x will go across two holes and up two holes, rather than one, so the stitch is twice the normal size). Plus, it only uses two colors which makes it ideal for beginners as it's quick and easy.

Upon receipt of payment the following will be available for instant download:
- Image of the stitches (like the one above), and the image translated into color squares
- Symbols over color chart
- Black and white symbols chart
- List of DMC cotton thread colors, and approximately how much you need
- Photo of the finished pillow cover
- Instructions for beginners.

The pattern is in PDF format so you will need a PDF reader to open it. Adobe’s free reader can be downloaded at:
