This handmade leather journal features my original artwork on soft suede.

The Ankh, also known as key of life, the key of the Nile or crux ansata, was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "eternal life", a triliteral sign for the consonants ʻ-n-ḫ. Egyptian gods are often portrayed carrying it by its loop, or bearing one in each hand, arms crossed over their chest. (Wikipedia)

The leather is sewn on felt and filled is this softcover journal with acrylic-stained paper (for the ancient look), hand torn and carefully bound with strong linen thread.
The paper is smooth and takes all writing instruments and will also work great as a sketchbook for dry media.

Size: appr. 12 x 16 cm (4.7 x 6.3 inch)
Paper: blank, 120 g/m², 240 pages (counted both sides)

As with all my books, it comes with a handsigned "certificate of authenticity" card so it makes a great present too.
