British Whitefaced Woodland wool.

These sheep come from the area where I used to live before moving to Wales. The southern end of the Pennines is a tough place to live, and these sheep suit that environment perfectly. They were primarily raised as a meat breed, but these sheep are renowned for having one of the softest fleece's of the hill sheep. The fleece can be quote variable, but these tops feel on the softer end of the scale, and it's certainly no Herdwick fibre!
This breed is one of the first fibres my Mum spun up when she was learning to spin, and she really enjoyed working with it..

This is commercially prepped fibre, (Tops)

100g (3.5oz)

Sorry, I can't supply my items on a wholesale basis
Handspun yarn should be washed carefully. All yarn has been washed before it has been listed for sale. I use hand hot water, and fragrance free detergent.
I don't recommend the rinse-free wool washes, they seem to make colours bleed.
Sorry, I can't do any custom spinning at present.
