This needle is plastic and is used to make classic loop rugs and goes with the pamphlet I wrote, "Loops in the Woods, Classic Round and Oval Loop Rag Rugs," on how to do the loop rug technique. It is called the toothbrush needle because it is made with a toothbrush. I do it out in my garage. First you cut off the bristle end. Then you shape that end into a nice point with a sanding wheel, and then buff it. The nice thing about making the needles out of toothbrushes is that they have, on the other end, a nice sized hole to lace the fabric strips through to make the loop rugs. Colors vary and I can't promise which color you will get, but you can ask for a certain color. The needle is 4 1/4 inches long. This price is for one needle only. Unfortunately, our postage has gone up and it costs me $6.55 to ship to Australia or England. Sorry for the high cost in postage but that is what it costs me! Love the Loops.
