Beautiful antique chromolithograph featuring raspberries by mid-19th century Belgian lithographer, G. Severeyns. G. Severeyns produced chromolithographs after various artists for many botanical books and publications, including the well known botanical reference book "Lindenia, Iconographie des Orchidées".

The image is printed on ivory paper and depicts raspberry canes bearing fruit in various stages of development, from blossom to ripe berry. The visible portion of the piece measures 7.75" wide by just over 9.75" in length, and is in very good antique condition with some minor toning. The paper also shows slight rippling beneath the glass. The central image is highlighted with a simple white mat which has some minor foxing. The wood frame, painted gold, is structurally sound and comes complete with wire on the back for hanging. The frame shows the nicks and wear associated with age and use, which serves to add to the appeal of this piece. The entire framed artwork, measured edge to edge, is 13.5" long and just under 11.5" wide.

This charming piece is ready for display and would add a wonderful vintage touch to your decor. Really a great find!
