No nonsense instructions for knitting and felting a perfectly sized case for your iPad, Kindle, or other item.

Directions for small size are printed in green. The two larger sizes are in red and blue. The size pertains to the width. You may adjust the height to suit your particular device. Exact measurement is achieved in the felting and stretching process.
Small ~ Fits small Kindle 4 1/2” wide and 1/3 -1/2” thick.
Medium ~ Fits Kindle Fire, Kindle 3G, Nook, or any item 4 ¾” – 5” wide and ½” thick
Large ~ Fits iPad, Kindle DX or other tablet 7 – 71/2” wide and ½ - 3/4” thick

Gauge before felting: 13 st = 4 inches; 17 rows = 4 inches

Materials:
size 11 double points, 8 inch length minimum (Longer is better for large size, or for large size, you could substitute size 11 cable needle.)
1 4oz skein Lamb’s Pride Worsted, 190 yds, or similar wool for small or medium.
2 4oz skeins for large size.
