This was brought back for me from Mexico just the way I have photographed it. I'm not sure of an age of this replica, but it is a fabulous figurine. I'm really hoping it will be sold to someone who displays artifacts or loves Mexican or Mayan Artifacts. You will recieve the dancer and her original brochure that says the following inside:

"Clay piece hand-modelled details and a beautiful polychrome finish. The figurine wears leg rattles and a breastplate"
Culture: Central Plateau
Source: Tlatico, State of Mexico
Period: Middle Pre-Classic (1200-1600 A.C.)
Height: 14.2 cm
Width: 5 Cm
Thickness: 1.3 cm
Collection: National Museum of Anthropology

Pre-classic room
exact copy of the original Made in Mexico

She measures about 6" and does have a chip on her chin that has always been there. I'd say she's likely to be a Mayan Goddess. Comes in a nice gift box.

Thanks so much for looking and be sure to check out my other vintage unique items! :)
