A beautiful example of fine craftsmanship in this hand woven vintage southwestern Chimayo or Saltillo rug/runner/wall hanging from the 40s-50s. In brilliant shades of hand dyed wool with ombre shading-- turquoise, sienna to gold, fuchsia to pink, rust to pale orange, mauve to grey and accents of black... perfect for rustic decor. Looks beautiful draped on furniture but also lovely hanging on a wall.

There are some small holes scattered in the weave which I didn't find until I held the piece up to the light-- they are nearly undetectable to the naked eye looking at the piece under normal light-- the piece remains lovely despite the wear.

measurements: 32"l x 15" w with 4" hand tied fringe border at each end
