This beautiful plate by Crown Staffordshire has peaceful country scenes with a man and a woman picking apples, woman with a bucket of water, man and woman walking together. Country flowers surround the plate and the outer edge has gold trim.

CROWN STAFFORDSHIRE
EVANGELINE'S ARCADIAN GARDENS
Pattern #: A15962
Bread and Butter Plate: 7 1/8 inches in diameter

This plate is in good condition, but I have to call attention to some tiny colored flecks, that look like dust, that seem to be there under the glaze from manufacturing. There are two slight indentations in the glaze, in the center portion of the plate; one has two tiny black dots that look like dust. As I don’t have other pieces of this china pattern, this may be typical of the manufacturing. As a shop owner on Etsy, I wanted you to buy this plate with no surprises.

From the mark on the back of the plate this plate produced bone china from 1933 onwards, at the specialist Minerva works in Fenton, England. The plate has been handmarked and numbered on the back.

This plate is truly lovely, and doesn’t look like it’s been used. Looking at this plate and takes you back in time to a colorful and peaceful past.

Buy yourself this beautiful plate and immerse yourself in a time of yesteryear.
