This awesome little cup has some great color. It was fired in a wood kiln to 2350 degrees, and has orange, gray, and black flashing on the exterior with a metallic sheen. One side of the cup got blasted with yellow ash, which melted and formed a small glassy green pool around part of the foot. The glaze on the interior is ochre celadon, which changed to olive, blue, and yellow because of the atmosphere in the kiln. There are a bunch of murky green crystals growing throughout the interior as well. There are also few pinholes in the interior of the cup near the handle, but they have been sanded smooth and do not interfere with the functionality of the cup. The handle was pulled from the cup and is very comfortable for one finger. This cup has a trimmed foot ring as well, with my signature in the middle.

This teacup holds a little over 3/4 of a cup, and measures right at 3" tall, and a little less than 3" wide. It is non toxic, as well as food, dishwasher, and microwave safe.
