Very nice kitchen scale made by "Hansen Scale Co." of Northbrook IL, circa 1959. Hansen was the preeminent manufacturer of kitchen scales throughout the 20th century, and this model 1371 is a nice example of their mid-century product line. It features the original white enameled steel case with two tone silver and white dial face and chrome tray. There is some paint loss/chipping below the tray, but the finish is otherwise very good. The original illustrated paper label is still intact and legible. The scale weighs accurately and the adjusting knob works just as it should. A great piece for display and use in a mid-century kitchen.
