The first public structure in Albany was a strong stone jail and 11 years later, in 1883, an imposing courthouse was built. Both buildings still exist. The jail, now officially known as “The Old Jail,” is a prestigious art museum with an outdoor sculpture garden and the county archives. The old courthouse was carefully restored in 2004 and is a historical landmark well worth touring.

This is a giclee print on heavy paper stock. Various sizes available.
