Presented is a very unique vintage thermometer, likely dating back to the 1920's or before. The thermometer is made of wood, with industrial style brass accents to the front which hold the glass tube in place. The thermometer is marked "Boots" on the front, but has no other information regarding the manufacturer or country of origin. Even more unique, the thermometer features thresholds on the right hand side, reading: Blood Heat, Too Warm, Sick Room, Too Cold, and Freezing. The thermometer has its original brass hanger on the back and is still in very nice condition for its age, only showing some moderate wear. Unfortunately, the temperature doesn't register very accurately as some of the liquid in the tube has separated and moved to the top (above 120 degrees). The thermometer measures approximately 8.5 inches in length. This piece would make a great accent on any wall and a welcome addition to any collection!

The thermometer will ship secured via USPS Mail.
