This recipe uses my buckwheat gluten free flour mix to produce a soft and tasty fruit loaf that is free from corn and rice. This is one to enjoy for breakfast, brunch or an afternoon snack, or you can share it with family and friends! No need to fear that moment where others tentatively taste crumbs (everyone knows gluten free bread is usually dreadful!) Serve this buckwheat fruit bread and they will be back for more!

The buckwheat flour in this recipe complements the spice and mixed dried fruit giving a wholesome taste and wonderful light texture.

This bread can be used for 2 or 3 days without freezing, and without losing its taste or texture; but who would want to leave it alone for that long?

I just baked my first loaf today - Honey Buckwheat - and it is tasty! I decided to go with 2 loaves, instead of 1, but next time would bake it as 1. I'm a novice baker, but know that GF dough is more difficult to work with, but this one surprised me. Great texture and nice looking bread. Chris was wonderful to work with, and I can't wait to try the pastry and millet bread. Thanks!
