100% natural sea glass finds. Individual, medium size pieces of cobalt blue, aqua, citron, green and brown sea glass accompanied by natural wampum and many examples of the "lucky" stone. Framed in 100+ year old, re-milled pine plank flooring from a West Tisbury farm house. 7" tall x 14" wide.
Being from upstate NY i never knew what a "lucky stone" was until i moved to the Vineyard. After several trips to the beach and a few handfuls of this and that, a friend commented on my collection of "lucky stones." Apparently, many beach goers, here and abroad, consider any stone with a continuous band of alternating stone or sediment exposed to be a lucky stone. Either way, I think that they are very cool, and enjoy using them in many of my pieces.
