Actress Kirstie Alley got a giggle from Barbara Walters in the 1980s, when Kirstie explained that she had no idea who the woman was in the photo on her dressing table. She just liked her face and the frame.
This fresh young woman could be provide you with a past, or could simply be part of a wall of people you've never met.
This is very large at 17.5" X 22.5" with frame and is also a large statement for your retro home. It's wood frame is the perfect counterpoint to the happy grad. There is a casualness that the photographer caught in this photo that was not prevalent of the the time. Her hair isn't overly styled and the expression seems truly happy. This might have been why the photo was an accepted entry in the National Portrait Exhibitors Forum. The references found with this name dates the photo to 1955 or so. The exhibition sticker is located on the mat under the glass. The studio name is cut off with the mat, so we don't know where it was taken or of who photo is of. I will let you create your own history.

The frame has a few nicks, but not bad for it's 60 years of age. I would love to see this on a 'Women of Accomplishment" wall, or wherever you want a mid century woman in your home.

As always, your shipping charge will be what the post office prints on the stamp for parcel post. If I quoted high, even on multi-item purchases, I will refund you the difference back to your PayPal account. If I quoted low- you've got a deal!
