Searching for some inspiration for my next piece and being totally in awe of the metalwork in the Medieval Gothic churches of Europe, I decided to use the same style of tracery to create an elegant yet edgy pair of earrings. I upcycled a much loved antique metal silver plated tray with beautiful deep engravings and used a very fine jeweler's saw to cut out the delicate details. Every nook and cranny was then filed smooth to the touch.

As always, all of the findings are sterling silver.

****These earrings measure 2 1/8" from the top of the handmade sterling ear wire to the bottom of the "V".
****They are 1 1/4" at the widest point.
