Absolutely exqusite lines on this old pottery lamp from the 1950s or 1960s. A swag or pendant lamp with a long cord and chain, it could be rewired for a light fixture.

The pull chain at the bottom, with the gilded wood knob, is so cool! Working, as you can see.

Comes with the mid century style metal light diffuser at the bottom of the shade, which not only casts awesome designs around, but softens the light if you're hanging it over a reading chair or something.

The shade has some issues on some top and bottom areas, probably from the chain and insufficient care in moving it over the years.

The ornate oyster white lamp, with it's satiny glaze, has no crack, no chips and no repairs. There is a pin-prick size hole, a kiln artifact, by the mold mark, perhaps for venting when it was made.

About 25" high plus the 6-1/2" pull chain. The shade is about 14" high and 16" across. The lamp will be partially disassembled for shipping. Very long chain and cord.

Gorgeous and unusual accent lamp, Danish Modern of mid-century in style.
