Probably from the 1940s or 1950s. Gorgeous wall art sculpture consisting of braised brass leaves, a la Curtis Jere style, and huge tole flowers which are thickly enameled.

Huge. About 35" high and 25-1/2" wide, major wall art of the elegant kind. A kinder, gentler brutalist thing going here, lol.

The porcelain enameling on the flowers make the petals about 1/8" thick or thicker! Gorgeous color, a terracotta peach with dark ivory yellow stamins.

The flowers are about 3" to 2-1/4" high, and the large one at the bottom center is about 5-1/2" across!

There is a welded attachment, in the back, a thin tube with nothing in it. Maybe that's where the wall hanger was? This was on the wall, hanging from the short cross piece in the center.

I don't think any leaves are missing, and the enamel on the flowers is in exceptional condition. Four or five of the braised brass leaves have crimped tips or old bends.

Elegant, classic Hollywood Regency decor, with a Chinoiserie flair.
