These are such sweet little books. One is the GREEN BOOK and the other is the BLUE BOOK OF BIRDS OF AMERICA. (There was actually a set of four published- each a different color - I only have these two). They are published by the WHITMAN PUBLISHING COMPANY, COPYRIGHT 1931 AND 1941. The inside of the blue one has an inscription (SEE SECOND PHOTO). Each page has a bird with description with lots of information. The illustrations are charming, as you can see. These are just the right size for taking on a hike or picnic - will fit in your backpack or glove compartment nicely!

Birds featured - Bluebird, chat, chickadee, thrush, towhee, grosbeak, goldfinch, crow, bunting, jay, lark, ovenbird, warblers and waxwing, just to name a few.

IMPERFECTIONS - These do show some slight wear to the spines, which is to be expected. All pages are complete and in wonderful condition. EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION.

DIMENSIONS - Each is 3 1/2" x 5 1/2". Each has 59 pages.
