"On the Way to Angel's Landing" is an original oil on canvas. This painting of the Great White Throne, as seen from the Angel's Landing hike, was featured on loan in a juried exhibition at the St. George Art Gallery. The exhibit was held in celebration of Zion National Park's centennial.

The Great White Throne was named by Frederick Vining Fisher, a Methodist minister, in 1916. He and his friend Claud Hirschi named many features in Zion Canyon. Seeing the mountain gloriously reflecting the afternoon light, Fischer exclaimed, "Never have I seen such a sight before. It is by all odds America's masterpiece. Boys, I have looked for this mountain all my life but I never expected to find it in this world. This mountain is the Great White Throne."

This painting will come to you ready for custom framing. Certificate of authenticity is included.

All items shipped via UPS Ground unless alternate shipping has been arranged. International shipping available upon request.
