I've always imagined that fairies played in the woods where the dogs and I walk and I've never yet seen one. But I have imagined the way they'd look. This one sports irridescent wings that change colors depending on the light source. Her body is a vintage spool of green thread accented with three tiny woodland green micro buttons and a couple of mother of pearl buttons. Her hat is an acorn top that she must have dropped while rushing off so I wouldn't see her. She's perched atop a polished river stone holding her magic wand. She'd make a really unique paper weight. I've added a tiny brass plaque that reads "Imagine". Take her to the office or perch her in your crafting room for inspiration.
I've used antique doll finds excavated from the grounds of German doll factories that operated between 1890 and 1920. She's a demure 3 1/2 inches tall and ready to take up residence at your place!
