The theme for this pair is the "solas" from the Reformation and depict five of my favorite men (John Owen, Jonathan Edwards, Martin Luther, John Calvin and; of course, C.H. Spurgeon):

The text on the boots is as follows:

Sola scriptura ("Scripture alone")
Sola fide ("Faith alone")
Sola gratia (Grace alone")
Solus Christus("Christ alone")
Soli Deo gloria ("glory to God alone")

The boots have only been worn once (by the artist) and are a ivory leather in size 8 1/2 - extremely comfortable. The brand is Coup D'etat.

Note: The artist hand illustrates only the "RIGHT" boot. On the outside surface of the left boot is "PSALM 89:13-18".

The artist works primarily with Faber-Castell artist pens which are extremely fade-resistant, very light fast, waterproof, permanent India ink.

Please contact the artist should you have any questions.
