Enid Collins bags were very popular in the 50's and 60's. This look alike bag, made in the style of the very pricey Collins bags, may have been made from one of the kits that was available at the time to decorate your own bag.
The jewels on the main sun like design look to be complete and intact. The little flowers around its perimeter have broken off a bit and a couple are missing their gem at the center. The wood bottom is slightly splintered in a couple spots where the tacks were inserted.
The green nubby fabric is backed with a smooth green cardboard backing. The straps and clasp are vinyl. There is a plastic pouch with 2 compartments hanging on one side of the interior.
The bag looks to have been used very little. Clean and in excellent shape.
A classic look!
