Vintage Ladies Late 1800's - 1910 Black Lace up Lorraine High Top Boots with French Heels. These were purchased from an Estate Sale, last year. I noticed them when I first entered, beside them was a picture of a young lady with the boots on. I did not pick them and the picture up immediately, by the time I got back to getting the boots, someone had taken the picture. By the age of the picture and clothing she was wearing, the proprietor of the sale was told by the elder lady and owner, that they belonged to her grandmother in the 1800's. They have been worn and loved and are antique shoes- vintage condition.

LOOK at the pictures closely*** The lighting on the pictures make so much difference. The SECOND picture is more of a true color of the boots*** as there is NO RETURN on this item. The leather's age is vintage and have some areas of the leather worn and appear as white spots/flaked areas. Laces are in very nice condition. The tongue and the center where the 20 pairs of metal eyelets go up the front of the boot is both SUEDE, in great condition. The Inside of the boots are a cream color cotton canvas material and the back inside collar of the boot has a black silk grained material and is about 2" wide, in great condition also. Sure it was there for comfort to the person wearing the boots. I wear a size 6 1/2 to 7 shoe myself, toe appear very pointed, however they are really very comfortable.

Labeling: The inside black silk collar is stamped BOOTS - Queen Quality - Delux, Made in Boston, USA on the Right Boot and left boot is Stamped - LORRAINE .The numbers printed inside on the cotton canvas are " 260 78235 " but don't know the meaning. STAMPED Shoe Soap Kid -Trademark Soles are leather, look like they would need attention if you plan to wear them very often. We do not guarantee that these will stand up to wear. We recommend that they are used for display and enjoyed! This would make an outstanding gift or addition to any collection! Wear for an occasional "costume Party, just to show them off! Overall they are in wonderful condition for the over 100 years of age. Seems that many of the listing I have found show case these as STEAM PUNK.

Size - 10 1/2" tall x 2 7/8" wide (at ball of foot) x 10" heel to toe... French Heel height is 2 3/4"........You know what they say..."The One with the Most SHOES WIN ". The shipping is priced coast to coast US. We will refund shipping cost if the difference is more then $ 2.00. We will ship international if you let us know your complete shipping address.
