I've strung the palest pink of shimmery freshwater stick pearls onto flesh-colored silk cord to created this simple and an intriguing 17 3/4 inch necklace.

I knotted the pearls onto the cord with blush-pink Japanese seed beads that are 3-sided, their opalescence complementing the stick pearls. The ends of the necklace are finished with sterling silver crimp ends and a sterling silver trigger clasp.

This necklace is not a choker, but it's not that long, either. The bust in the photo is smaller than a typical person. I would say the necklace falls just below the collarbone.
