This photo of the Georgetown University seal and its motto "Utraque Unum" ("Two into One") was taken in February 2012. Georgetown adopted the bald eagle clutching cross and globe in its talons at its founding in spring 1789, which predates the signing of the U.S. Constitution. Four universities are authorized to use the bald eagle in their school symbology; The United States Military Academy, The United States Naval Academy, The United States Air Force Academy, and Georgetown University.

This print is printed on Kodak Professional Glossy paper and ships flat ready for matting or framing. Although the preview image is watermarked to protect my property on this site, your print will ship to you without the watermark.
