This 3 piece set of vintage primitive wooden goodies includes a bowl, a pestle, and a pedestal candle holder, all of which have been painted/distressed and antiqued extra-chippy primitive Robin's Egg with a light coat of clear acrylic sealer added. The set can be displayed together or apart, as a mortar & pestle or as a pedestal bowl or as a table centerpiece, or to be changed seasonally! The bowl has dark wood patina on the inside & measures approximately 6" x 2.75". The candle holder has graduated center holes cut to accomodate different sized/styles of battery operated LED candles* and measures about 4" x 5" marked Cornwall Industries Inc., South Paris Maine, and the wooden pestle/masher has a flat bottom & measures 5" x 1.25". Great for stacking together with other vintage kitchen bowls & collectibles or apart, for holding & displaying faux fruits or pantry cakes, an Easter gift basket, herbs, crafts or jewelry, vintage kitchen tools, yarn or rag balls, primitive ornies, croquet balls, potted herbs or flowers, old dolls & toys, vintage ornaments, serving forks/knives/spoons at your Spring gatherings, guest soaps, or displaying other small collectibles. Very primitive, shabby chic, cottage, cabin, lodge, vintage garden, country farm, or beach house decor! In primitive condition with the expected patina/creaks/cracks/crevices & wear from age and use, as pictured ~ with an age crack along the bowl's side ~ adding even more rustic character. For decorative purposes or use a cloth or wax paper liner for displaying fresh foods or fruits. *Please note that painted wood can be flamable & isn't recommended for use with real candles. For the sake of clarity, the word 'vintage' in my listings means that the item is older than 20 years, with the exact age of this bowl set unknown but most likely from the mid century 1950's ~ 60's era.
