Life-size solid-copper flying Common Teal duck sculpture 16 inches long from the end of her bill to the tip of her tail feathers, and 13 inches high from her back down to her wing tip. She nearly glows when the light catches the reflective copper patterns.

Hand shaped and formed from a thick, repurposed copper sheet using metalworking chisels, punches, hammers, and mallets. The copper sheet was originally to be used for roof flashing.

Surface heated with a flame, treated with a patina solution to create the reflective olive-gold and blue-green patinas. Sprayed with a clear coating to preserve the color and finish.

A copper wire is attached for hanging. Signed by the artist on the back. Includes a signed artist’s sheet showing how I create this metal art.

Use and care: This piece can show inside or out. It looks great on a wall or an outside space. It looks great on a door, fence, or wall as a focal point. If it's out in severe weather all the time, you may want to re-spray it with an acrylic clear coat every few years or just let it age gracefully!

Sent by Priority Mail within the United States, so it will get to you in 2 to 3 days! International shipments go by International First Class parcel which generally takes 6 to 21 days.
