This is a wooden block that was used on a printing press and has a form for a doctor's office. It is wood, and the form itself is metal and was attached. This was attached by hand, so the top does overlap the block just a bit. It's from a small town in Nebraska and was used buying the local print shop in the days before the copying machine. The block is undated, buy the collection dates from the 1960s/1970s. This block was used, so it does have some spots of wear, but it a unique item for your home decor or printing press.

Width is 7 3/4"-height is 4 1/2." Thickness of wood is approx. one inch.
