I'm already dreaming about spring, how 'bout you? And I have a serious crush on this aqua and green fabric for its floral freshness! Lined in a soft tonal aqua fabric, and trimmed with polka dots, it's sure to bring a smile. I love to search my fabric collection to choose just the right fabric combos. I hope you enjoy this bag - it's just right for your small-to-medium size work-in-progress, your library books, or whatever other bits of life's ephemera you are toting today!

THE FINE PRINT:
Hot diggety dog, these fully lined and interfaced bags have all enclosed seams, so they’re reversible! Turned cattywampus, the three lined interior pockets appear on the outside of the bag (see sample photo.) Stress points are reinforced for durability. This Loopy Lulu bag is approximately 9" tall x 9.5" wide on a 3.5" deep base (22.86cm x 24.13cm x 10.168.89 cm) when measured flat. And in honor of Little Loopy Lulu and her lariat, there’s a nifty metal clip to lasso your keys or scissors, or to use as a yarn guide.

The actual bag you are purchasing is shown in the top four photos; the final pic are generic, and show features common to all Loopy Lulu bags. Photo #3 shows the inside of this bag.

All items are made in our pet-free, smoke-free home. I encourage you to spot clean only, or hand-wash as needed, and air dry. For that reason, you may want to Scotchgard your items. Though my bags are very well-constructed, I do not recommend machine washing. Please consult Policies section for additional details on fabric care, shipping, etc.

THE BACK STORY:
Two whoops and a holler from Chicago’s Loop, a gaggle of young’uns whiled away the endless summer days. Clementine’s pal Tallullah was a real live wire – Lulu didn’t believe in lollygagging, much preferring to spend her time dreaming up exciting adventures. Usually, that kind of hullabaloo would land their gal posse in a world of trouble – but a good kerfluffle was always more fun that sitting around like a bump on a log!

One steamy Midwest morning, Little Lulu got a bee in her bonnet and decided it was time to practice up for her future career as “Queen of the Rodeo.” Lu knew that she’d need to work on her calf roping skills, so she snitched her ma’s clothesline, and made a lariat. The whole gang took turns trying to lasso a fence post, but soon they went off in search of a live critter. And so it was that they spent a rootin’, tootin’ good time all afternoon, chasing and lassoing all the neighborhood livestock. The girls laughed until they were loopy – but those poor discombobulated pooches were never quite the same.

That Clever Clementine dreamed up Lulu’s Loopy Bag that very day! She wanted to make her pardner a bag that would hold a whole kit-n-caboodle of vital items, but at the same time would suit the esthetics of a fashionable future Rodeo Queen. So these bags have three cute pockets, perfect to corral small objects. And they’re reversible, because sometimes a gal just needs a change, right?

So here we go, Loopy Lu, a bag that’s just the right size for one of Cousin Lydia’s small-to-middling size knitting projects, or for your brother Lemuel’s library books. For now, you can use it to carry your emergency peanut butter sandwich for when you get a little peckish, and then later, you can use it to tote your Rodeo Queen tiara. Why, Great-Aunt Delilah could even use one for her collection of string too short to save!
