Vintage sewing needle pouch:

This sweet little sewing needle holder is handmade, and you can just picture the woman lovingly creating it for her own sewing basket in the 1930s Depression era from a pretty pink, white and gray Art Deco fabric -- probably a remnant from a quilt or dress project, or even from a feed sack! -- with white flannel inside, where the pins would be inserted. It's octagonal in shape when it's open, and it folds into a sweet basket shape. It's a great addition to your sewing notions collection!

There are absolutely no tears or missing stitches in this little beauty! The outside fabric is clean, though there is some discoloration to the inside white flannel, along with a couple of rust marks from the needles that were stored there for the past few decades until I found it.

This vintage sewing needle pouch measures 5 1/2" across when it's open.

I have other vintage sewing supplies and accessories in my shop, so please check it out!
