I just loved this little shoe organizer as soon as I saw it! It's made of natural feedsack fabric and has been hand embroidered and hand painted with 2 pictures of a boy and girl -- one with a clothesline of shoes and the other posed together. The top title is a red painted and black floss outlined 'SHOES'. Each pocket and the entire hanging are outlined with red binding. There are two metal loops in the upper corners mounted on the back with red & white gingham squares.

The upper 3 pockets have come loose from the top down about 1-1/2" or 2" along the red binding. The bottom pockets are secure all the way to the top. It has a few dark spots -- either discoloration, stains or the nature of the fabric. There are a couple of pulls in the stitching. Overall, though, the sewing is in very good condition, as you can see from the photos. There are no tears or holes.

Measures 15-1/2" wide & 21-1/2" high. Each pocket is 8"x5".

It's undated, but is definitely vintage -- looking at the fabric & design, I estimate that it's from the 1920s or 1930s.

This is just so sweet! I could see it hung in a child's room, a kitchen or even a home office to hold office supplies.

I'm happy to ship internationally, though sometimes the cost is higher than the price of the item (especially in the case of heavy items)! If your country isn't listed in an item's shipping information, please convo me to get a shipping cost. There are several countries to which shipments can't be insured. If that's the case, shipping there might not be possible.

Most vintage pottery and glass pieces should be hand-washed rather than put in the dishwasher.

It's also a good policy to never immerse a vintage figurine or wash it too vigorously, as the cold painted features (those not under glaze) wash off very easily.
