Complete deck of vintage Old Maid cards, including instructions. There are 38 cards (one is for the instructions) and there are two of each character card, except for the old maid card. The characters include "Cookie Connie", "Artist Annie", "Guitar Gary", "Waitress Wendy", "Hosehauler Harry" and many more.

The characters are cutely illustrated and would make great gift tags, labels, or incorporated into cards or other projects.

NOTE: The actual paper the cards are printed on is very thin, it's not like regular playing card material that you would expect. The fronts are semi-glossy and the backs are matte and appear to be untreated/coated paper. The printing is also uneven in places (for instance, some of the blacks are more of a dark grey on some cards).

The cards measure 2.25" wide and a bit over 3.25" long. The box is a bit beat up and taped, it has the original price sticker and a brown mark on one edge.

This is not the most politically correct game, but in a silly way--the final step of the instructions is: "Play continues until all pairs have been matched. The player left holding the old maid card loses the game and becomes "The Old Maid".
