Pleasing Mid Century Modern bowl in a concave shield-like geometric atomic design.

The sliver houses of Los Castillo and Victoria of Taxco taught many fine craftsmen the art of metales casados, or "married metals." This bowl was created by a little known house of metal artisans called E. Cabello.. Metales Casados is now a lost art, never to be revived.

Brass, copper, and alpaca (the silver color.) Three brass ball feet.

Dish is approximately 10.75 inches long by 8.5 inches wide and 2.0 inches in height. Hallmarked within a crown "E.Cabello C.A. Mex."

Condition is very good.
