Kuchis (from the Persian word koch meaning "migration", are Afghan Pashtun tribal peoples who live a nomadic life travelling between pastoral lands in Afghanistan and in Pakistan. THEY ARE NON-POLITICAL. Belly dancers from Kuchi tribes performed at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893 and its popularity grew!

This wonderful vintage pendant is a combination of copper , copper plating, and brass - with a beautiful old patina. Pale blue glass beads and and blue/turquoise resin are features on this wonderful exotic pendant.

The necklace combines large old Nepalese glass melon beads, copper and gilt beads from Africa, Blue Crazy Lace Agate rounds, smaller Amazonite rounds and copper bead spacers.

The pendant measures about 6 1/4" long and the necklace is approx. 18 in length. It's an amazing necklace!
