Antique illustration from a children's encyclopedia describing the "Spirit of the Viking". The caption is really funny "Was it any wonder that he heard the reverberations of Thor's hammer roll from mountain peak to mountain peak"...sure to be a conversation piece.

This book page was cut from the 1944 New Standard Encyclopedia (NOT a reproduction). The page measures approximately 6" x 9" including margins. The reverse side is blank. The print is in good condition—perfect for framing. I will ship the print in a stiff cardboard mailer within 1-3 days of ordering.
