Pure cold pressed Walnut Oil.
Walnut oil is an excellent oil for shakuhachi flutes because of it's ability to penetrate bamboo then slowly cure. Forms a protective moisture barrier for the flute and helps reduce the chance of a crack forming.
Apply to outside of flute 3 to 4 times a year with a soft cotton cloth or paper towel and wipe off excess.
