I was in 7th grade an mostly interested in some boy named Shaun and perfecting my curling iron skills.

This cloth calendar from 1979 is looks like it was just purchased. It doesn't show any signs of wear except for a couple of loose stitches on the hem on one corner which could be easily repaired. From the brightness of the orange, yellow and brown daisies, I can tell this cloth was never put in a washing machine. It has a "loop" sewn at the top where a dowel can be inserted for hanging.

This piece measures 29 x 16 inches.
