An early larger sized 1 5/8" wide antique MILK BOTTLE cap. This is an authentic original bottle cap that we found ourselves.

Though it is old, it is in excellent condition as it is an unused bottle cap.

This is the earliest style/size milk bottle cap. This cap actually went into an older embossed milk bottle, not the newer style pyro glazed milk bottles. Antique milk bottle caps are becoming quite popular to collect. The dairy caps from Montana are fairly hard to find since the state was sparsely populated in the early years.

This rare milk bottle cap came from the tiny Montana town of Polson, Montana, on the south shore of Flathead Lake, one of the largest crystal clear freshwater lakes in North America. Before we found a small handful of these in an old building in SW Montana, no one had ever seen one before. None have been found since that time either.
