Momohiki (peasant / farming / work pants) and maekake (apron) are worn today at traditional festivals (matsuri). Traditionally they were worn by labourers or farmers.

This set dates back to Showa era, perhaps post-war to mid-century.

For the most part, the cotton is very deep, dark indigo blue. The reverse side of the apron, the inner hem of the pants and the tie strings are a lighter indigo blue.

This apron is an adult size small to medium (approx.) Please check the measurements.
