French vintage mustard pot - Dijon mustard with spoon and lid. The pot is made by Opalex, and is a kind of milk glass, (similar to Pyrex) and has blue decoration. On the front is a stylised coat of arms with 1777 written underneath and it has 'Moutarde fine de Dijon, Grey Poupon' written on either side of it. Grey poupon means grey little baby or baby doll. On the back is some more decoration and the words 'Forte au vin blanc'.

This is a lovely little pot that also has a lid and wooden spoon although I don't think the lid is original. It is in good vintage condition as you can see from the photos. It does have a slight brown mark on it on one side but this doesn't detract from it. It measures 3½ins (9cm) tall and is 2¼ins (5.5cm) in diameter across the bottom. It was probably made in the 1950s.

A lovely pot to have in your kitchen to keep trinkets, keys, bits and bobs in.
