For sale is an Art Deco, Masons ashtray. It appears to be made out of an aluminum alloy metal. The ashtray has the symbols of compass with the letter “G” in the center with a builder’s square forming a “V” at the bottom. It is stamped on the back “The Nat’L Emblem & Specialty CO. Toledo, Ohio Pat. Pend.” Although this company is no longer in business, researching information appears that it produced novelty items for different companies. It has a very “Art Deco” look to it, simple clean lines, textured surface in contrast to smooth surface, and is very functional without any additional decorative detailing. I was told that it dates to the 1940’s-1950’s. It has three raised tips to elevate it off the table surface and is approximately 7/8” high. It is approximately 5-3/4” in diameter, 6-1/4” in size from one end of the indented cigarette holder sections. It has a “used” patina and I have not attempted to clean it. I will leave the cleaning up to the new owner. If you collect Mason memorabilia, this would make a nice addition to your collection. Since it has been used, it could be used in your bar, garage or “man cave.” Price: $29.00. This item is sold “As Is” and is non returnable because I have described it as accurately as possible. If you purchase additional items (non breakable), I will gladly combine to save on S&H charges. I’m sorry but I only accept PayPal as my method of payment and I cannot ship out of the United States at this time. Payment is due within three days. Please wait 4-5 business days for PayPal to clear and your item will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Thanks for stopping by!
